New Princeton Tec Fuel and ReMix

REMIXBLACKaFrom Princeton Tec Press Release:

2 New Headlamps Brighten Your ‘09/10
Modifications To An Existing, In-Line Headlamp Yield The Birth Of The New Remix And Fuel

TRENTON, NJ To create two new super-bright, efficient, light weight and affordable headlamps for 2009, the minds at Princeton Tec looked from within to find their masterpieces. What they came up with – the Remix and Fuel – is a combination of building off their best-selling headlamp, the “older” Fuel, and adding a bit of steroids – the good kind of course.

That’s how the new Remix and Fuel were conceived. The Remix, a burly hybrid headlamp, uses two different sources/types of light utilizing 3 – 5mm LEDs and 1 Maxbright Rebel LED to pump out a bright 45 lumens with 200 hours of burntime. By “remixing” the existing Fuel headlamp, the new Remix is tightly packaged to the same dimensions of its predecessor but packs a brighter punch. The Remix is also water resistant and has four operation modes. Like a DJ mixes beats, the Remix mixes function, brightness and size.

FUELBLACKaThe “new” Fuel has also learned from its older brother the “old” Fuel, and is now the stronger of the two. Boasting 4 – 5mm LEDs and 43 lumens of light, the “new” Fuel won’t stand for being pushed around in the sandbox by older bullies. By adding one more LED to the same Fuel body, the new four LED headlamp features 10 more lumens of brightness and increased burntime – all for the same price. It’s also water resistant and features four operation modes. Just like beers, kisses, dollars and weeks of vacation – four is always better than three.

Both the Remix and Fuel will be available August ’09.
